Benjamin Chen
Associate
Ben Chen is an associate attorney at Graves and King’s Riverside office and has experience representing and defending public entities in various manners, ranging from personal injuries, dangerous condition of public property, and breach of contract claims to more transactional matters relating to construction, land use, surplus property, leases, bond-financing, compliance, and the Public Records Act.

Ben graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Comparative Literature in 2021 and earned his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law in 2025. At UCI Law, Ben was awarded several scholarships from local bar associations, including the Honorable Arthur Nakazato Memorial Scholarship. He was an Executive board member of the UCI Law Review, and he also won the Mock Trial Championship in 2023. In 2025, he founded the first UCI Law team to participate at the Vis Moot Vienna International Arbitration competition.
