Colleen J. Downes joined Graves & King LLP in 2025 and is an attorney at the firm’s Glendale office. Ms. Downes’s practice primarily focuses on general liability litigation and defense of public entities. During law school, Ms. Downes served as an extern for the United States District Court, Eastern District of Washington, and later worked as a certified law student at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in the East Los Angeles branch office handling felony preliminary hearings. After law school, Ms. Downes focused on civil litigation involving a wide variety of cases ranging from personal injury, employment, business and intellectual property matters.

Ms. Downes received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz and earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School.
